Bitburner is a cyberpunk-themed Linux-like hacking simulation game where you use real JavaScript to automate your hacking.
You are a script kiddy in a dystopian world, and you must write scripts to hack servers, grow your power, and eventually automate entire networks. It’s a fantastic (and quite deep) introduction to JavaScript and command-line interfaces.
Since it uses real JavaScript, it’s one of the best “games” to bridge the gap between educational puzzles and real-world software development.
